Gameplay

 Introduction 

QRmon is an Android application based on pet raising simulator game. 

In this game, players starts from an egg. As players progress through the game, they will need to feed, groom, and train their pets to grow and become stronger. 

With fun mini-games, daily challenges, and social features that allow players to connect and interact with each other, QRmon is sure to provide hours of entertainment for players of all ages. 



Editions

There are 17 editions to choose from

Evolutions

Till date, there are 15 monsters that have been added to Classic 1. More monsters will be added in the future.

The monsters evolves depending on the manners they are taken care of.


Customisation

The game is customiseable. There is option to upload custom sprites. The custom sprites is copied into the Android cache storage for stability.

 

Upload Custom Monster Sprites

Recommended tools for sprites creation is Piskel and Aseprite.

For Classic versions,  the monster spritesheet consists of 19 frames. 

Each frame is 16x16 pixels with 1 pixel padding. Therefore, each frame size is 17x16 pixels.

 

Classic spritesheet should be arranged in the order of below.



For Advanced editions, the monster spritesheet consists of 17 frames. The frame size is same as classic.

Advanced spritesheet should be arranged in the order of below.



For bullet, even though it is 16x16 pixels size, it should only be drawn as 8x8 pixels on the top left corner as shown in blue highlight below. 
 
 

The spritesheets should be saved in ".png" image format with transparent background.

 

Upload Custom UI Sprites

Classic

Menu Icons

Menu Icon spritesheet consists of 8 frames in total.

Each icon frames is 24x24 pixels with 1 pixel padding.


The spritesheet should look like below.


Texts

Text spritesheet has a total of 18 frames. 

Each frame is 32x8 pixels with 1 pixel padding on both directions. So, the total frame size is 33x9 pixel.


The spritesheet should be in below order, 6 columns x 3 rows.


Numbers

Numbers spritesheet has a total of 20 frames. 

Frame size for "large" number is 4x7 pixels. Frame size for "small" number is 3x5 pixels. No padding.



Stats

Stats spritesheet consists of 28 frames. Each frame is 8x8 pixels with 1 pixel padding.


Spritesheet should be in below arrangement.


Skull 2

Skull 2 spritesheet is used in Classic 2 until Classic 6 editions. It has 2 frames.

Each frame is 8x8 pixel with 1 pixel padding. Spritesheet arrangement is as below.

 

PC

Frame size is 16x16 pixel. Padding is not required.


Train Target 1, 2 & 3

Spritesheet has 2 frames.

Frame size is 8x16 Pixels. Padding of 1 Pixel is required.

Damage 1 & 2

Spritesheet contains 4 frames.

Each frame is 32x16 pixels with 1 pixel padding on both directions.

Advanced

Menu Icons

Menu icons spritesheet for advanced editions is the same format as classic.


Texts Advanced

Advanced Texts spritesheet has a total of 25 frames. 

Each frame is 32x8 pixels with 1 pixel padding on both directions. So, the total frame size is 33x9 pixel.

The spritesheet should be in below order, 9 columns x 3 rows.


Numbers Advanced

Number spritesheet frame and format is the same as classic.


Stats Advanced

For advanced, the spritesheet consists of 28 frames. Each frame is 8x8 pixels with 1 pixel padding.


Spritesheet should be in below arrangement.


Damage Advanced

Spritesheet contains 14 frames.

Each frame is 32x16 pixels with 1 pixel padding on both directions.

Upload Custom Sounds

Same with the sprites, sounds that you uploaded into the app is copied into the app's cache. Upload ".ogg" files only.


Upload Custom Names

Each individual character's name can be customised. Give them your own cool names!
